Piedmont Unified School District
The Piedmont Unified School District is an award winning school system and among the highest ranking districts in the state of California. Ninety-five percent of high school graduates go on to pursue college after high school.
The district consists of three elementary schools; Beach, Havens and Wildwood, plus Piedmont Middle School and Piedmont High. Additionally, there is an alternative high school called, Millennium and an Adult School. These facilities serve approximately 2,700 students.
The Piedmont Unified School district is a much sought after place for parents to send their children to school. Many parents move to Piedmont specifically for the schools. The teachers have an average of fourteen years’ experience and over eighty percent hold a Bachelors, or Masters degree.
Additionally, special needs students are served by a staff of trained professionals which include occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, school nurses and counselors. Each child has his or her educational needs specialized to fit their individual case.
